Shopping around for a new phone on a budget could be a difficult task. Most major phone companies are releasing phones with a $500 price point to start. For the latest models you’ll see them priced at well over $1,000, but more often than not the specifications don’t justify the price. This review will go over a phone that offers great specifications at a fraction of the price. The Moto G Power.
Moto G Power 2021
The Moto G Power comes with an above standard storage capacity of 64 GB. If that storage size is not enough you’re able to use an SD card that holds up to 512 GB of memory. The screen size is a bit bigger than the iPhone 5 SE sitting at 6.6 inches. If you’re major interest is the camera you’d be glad to know it has a 48 megapixel triple camera system that works well in any lighting and comes with a battery that can last up to three days. If you’re into gaming the phone boasts a 2020 Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processer at 2. GHz along with 4 GB of ram capable of running major mobile games like Genshin Impact.
While this phone does have it’s appealing benefits it does have a few minor drawbacks. The plastic casing on the back of the phone is plastic so as usual it’s best to purchase a case to protect your phone from accidental drops. Google will also only support this phone model up to Android 11 so in later years this phone may fall behind on updates. The brightness is lower than its competitors but for the price point it doesn’t seem to be a deal breaker. Overall I’ll give this phone a 7 out of 10 based on price and specification. If you’re looking for a good bang for your buck this phone will do the trick.
