HUION Adjustable Tablet

If you’re thinking about drawing digitally, you’re going to want to have proper positioning of your wrist to avoid injury. Drawing for several hours can lead to carpal tunnel damaging your wrist. For this reason you’ll want your tablet to positioned to at least a 40 degree angle. You can use any object to lift your tablet, but if you want something more secure to avoid potentially damaging the rear surface of your tablet, I recommend HUION’s Adjustable Tablet. It’s a multi-level tablet that has 4 levels of positions and can stand between 60 and 20 degrees depending on your preference and can support a tablet size between 10-15 inches. It has a stopper at the bottom to prevent the tablet from sliding downward with two rubber strips on both the left and right side to keep it in place. It’s made out of aluminum alloy and definitely feels sturdy. I personally use this with my current HUION Inspiroy Dial Q620M and can vouch for its functionality.

Protecting Your Tablet

Worried about protecting the surface of your drawing tablet from scratches that can be caused by the nib of your stylus? I’d suggest placing a clear adhesive cover over the usable surface. The one I use does not interfere with the function of the nib and the friction between the cover and the nib is not much different than the tablet’s matte finish. The nib slides over the cover just as smoothly. There are not many options when it comes to tablet surface covers and unfortunately this was all I could come across.
