A tweet from the head of game design, Jerry Hook, confirmed some more changes to how the shop is monetized. Community feedback seems to finally have 343 Industries take a second look at how the game is being monetized. What we can look forward to is a confirmed reduction in prices across the board, while also putting individual items outside of bundles for those who are interested in one piece of the bundle.
There was also a user who asked about adding the ability to earn currency in-game. The head of design responded saying “I think we’ll do it too” without any details. We’ll have to wait and see if this feature will be added to the game. Other popular titles like Apex Legends, and Destiny 2 offers ways to earn in-game currency so it wouldn’t be too surprising if Halo Infinite follows the same pattern down the road. Just keep the feedback going and cross those fingers.
